Brief introduction:
Lake Mburo is the best savanna Park in the country to see the gigantic eland antelope, as well as zebra, topi, impala, and several acacia-associated birds. This park is believed to be extension of Serengeti plains of Tanzania

The five lakes within the park attract hippos, crocodiles and a variety of waterbirds, while fringing swamps hide secretive papyrus specialists such as the sitatunga antelope and red, black and yellow papyrus gonalek. Birds of the Open Water in this Park include; Pink-backed pelican, Darter, White pelican, Yellow-billed duck, Long-tailed cormorant, White winged black tern and Greater cormorant.Lakeshore and papyrus swamp birds.There are over 26 species of lakeshore and papyrus swamp birds recorded in this Park. Some of them include; Fish eagle, Pied kingfisher, African finfoot, Great white egret, Night heron.

DAY ONE:Begin the day with breakfast, drive to the West. A stop over is made at Equator-crossing for photographs and snacks. On your way to the park, game-drive as you check in Mantana Tented Camp .After lunch, enjoy a boat ride in Lake Mburo amidst Hippos. Other animals like Crocodiles herons, African King Fisher, Fish Eagles, Pelicans, and Crested Cranes including local fishermen and fishing villages may be seen. Evening game drive is possible.Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge/Mantana Tented Camp/Arcadia Cottages. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinnegiraffe35

DAY TWO:After breakfast make an early morning game walk in this savannah park and expect to see Warthogs, Elands, Uganda Kob, Buffaloes and many birds. After lunch drive to back to Kampala. End of services.

Optional volunteer one day activity for clients:Today morning begins with African breakfast. The team gets set to go and does community work within the communities’ eco projects staying adjacent the park. Volunteer services with local Associations include constructing schools, health clinics, cultivating a community garden, making crafts or digging a road leading to a trading center. In the evening, the guests return to the camp. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
